Cary Grant

Cary Grant (1904 - 1986)

    Cary Grant was born Archibald Alexander Leach on January 18th, 1904 in Horfield, Bristol, England.  He is considered one of the most recognizable and popular Hollywood Actors of the 20th century.

    The first of his two Academy Award Nominations for Best Actor came in 1941 for his part as Roger Adams alongside Irene Dunne in Penny Serenade.  In addition to this, he was nominated for five Golden Globes including his performance as Earl Victor Rhyall in the 1960 comedy .

    Cary Grant will be fondly remembered for his unrelenting screen charm, comedic wit and strong screen presence in his many successful film roles between 1932 and 1966.
